Medium-Term Management Strategy
We have established the following basic policies and initiatives, and will promote them as follows.
Basic Policy
1. Profit Structure Reform
We will fundamentally review the Group's profit structure based on the efficiency of invested capital in order to improve the structure, and at the same time, we will implement business strategies that adapt to the market environment in Japan and overseas to realize stable profit generation.
2. Promotion of globalization
Accelerate global expansion by focusing on allocating management resources and strengthening the structure to capture growing overseas demand, and by enhancing the ability to solve customer issues.
Initiatives
1) Strengthen business portfolio management
Aim to maximize corporate value by strengthening business management with an awareness of the cost of capital and building a portfolio that can withstand changes in the environment to realize the long-term vision through a management orientation that balances growth, profitability, and capital efficiency.
2) Strengthening the management base through structural reforms
Looking ahead to the next 10 years, we will promote structural reforms to achieve group-wide optimization and build a strong management foundation that supports high competitiveness and generates stable profits even in a changing environment.
3) Expand global business earnings
Accelerate globalization of business through the development of optimal solution businesses tailored to regional characteristics, and build a solid business foundation through the penetration of the JMS brand in order to expand business earnings.
4) Promotion of ESG management
To realize a virtuous cycle of profit contribution to society and the economy as a whole and medium- to long-term enhancement of corporate value by actively and proactively promoting initiatives to realize a sustainable society as part of our management strategy and to solve materiality issues through our business and corporate activities.
We are currently in the process of formulating a management plan based on our medium-term management strategy, which is scheduled to be announced during FY2023. Through the implementation of this medium-term strategy and plan, we will transform ourselves into a company with medium- to long-term durability and increased corporate value over the medium to long term, while responding to the various demands of society.
