Green Greetings (from A-bombed trees in Hiroshima)

images

The City of Hiroshima has an official registry of some 170 "A-bombed trees", i.e. trees that have survived the A-bomb attack on August 6, 1945 within approx. 2km radius of Ground Zero.

The "Green Greetings" project is aimed at supporting the A-bombed tree preservation campaign by Hiroshima City's International Peace Promotion Department.

As part of community contribution, we sponsor this project, assisting in a range of activities including A-bombed tree tours and the management of A-bombed trees.
